Ok I have about a 100 pounds to spend on a reciever. I have an 80cm dish and live in NW England what would be the best reciever to get for that amount? I already have a satellite signal meter and a programmer and card so am just after a reciever in that price range. Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi jontydog.
That's the easiest one I've answered all week ![]() No competition. Technomate TM-1500 CI+ Super. Around £100 - £110. Awesome box for that money. Card reader, CI slot, patchable, excellent picture and sound, DiSEqC 1.2, digital audio output. Tons of support. Bombproof. Buy one! There's nothing to touch it in that price range. ![]() Anything else? :spite:

Never heard of it. Wouldn't pay over £40 personally.
No patches available, so only going to do FTA without a CAM. If you want to go cheaper than the TM-1500, then the TM-1000 goes for £60 and can be patched. Another cheap box that can be patched is the Lemon 020. Gotta go watch the footy now

Hiya Jontydog, Agree with STICk 100%, I bought a Technomate 1500 couple of months back and have been really impressed, not only with the receiver but all the support on the forums for it, and its really easy to patch ! And if you like 'fiddling', keeping the patches upto date then this is the box for you !! Best buy I've made ![]() ![]() Bilbo

LOL, there are no guarantees, but if you want to avoid obsolescence, you should go with the crowd every time
