Default Help total novis

Hi everybody,

I wonder if you could help me?* At the moment I have a dell 37"HD tv and a Humax PVR-9200t and a old sky digi dish on the wall from when sky was affordable. My question is if I buy a humax HDCI2000 would it work on my old sky digi dish, if so can I link both my Humax systems together so that I can record from hdci2000 onto pvr-9200? Or is there a better hd system I should be looking at?

Welcome to the forum m8

Does your HDTV have an HDMI connector?

If so, the Humax HDCI2000 would be a good choice (considering that choice is still very limited at the present time...) and yes, it will work with ye olde Sky minidish OK.

I'm not sure about your PVR-9200T, but only because I've never used one. What sort of input can you throw at it at the moment?

The HDCI2000 will produce unencrypted output, so it should be OK.

Anyone else want to comment on this last point? ops:

Hi paulhar * *:welc1:

I've a HDCI2000 so if theres any specific questions you have regarding the box let me know and I'll try and answer them

I've found the box has it's foibles... the sound and picture quality is excellent but I will say that compared to the Technomate 1500, the channel changing is slow and interface a little bit more clunky.

I've not tried any mods yet as I want to make sure I'm watching the world cup in HD
