Default Out of date?

Hi guys,

I have been out of the country for a little while so I think I am out of touch with the fast moving world of satellites!

A couple of months ago I had my hispasat all sorted and with online help, I got a few scrambled channels unlocked by doing the software thingy and putting a few codes in.

I have now noticed that some of the scrambled channels are black again. Does that mean that the codes have changed? Do they change very often?

As always, any posts will be gratefully received.

Hi kop442000,
both D+ and Cabo are down at present, and don't look like making a quick return, but we live in hope. The 2 main packages available are Premiere, Astra 1 19.2E, and Digiturk 7E, but their keys generally change daily Monday-Friday, and leave us in peace for the weekend.
Best wishes
Mickha

Yes, and to avoid ambiguity it's just the Digiturk keys that change regularly, whereas the Premiere keys are pretty stable

So, as far as Hispasat is concerned, what is black at the moment on my box, must stay black for now?

Thanks guys.

Yes, I'm afraid so. Just enjoy the FTA stuff, or motorise your dish for more choice.

Losing channels is part of the game just as much as having them opened in the first place
