Sorry Jim, I can't remember where you are, but your dish is very small! ops:

It could be that, especially if you're up north.

If you have a reasonable signal strength but no quality, it might just be dish alignment. What I find a little strange is that you can detect them on a transponder scan :?

It could be a neighbour's phone, or local transmitter. Are they the ONLY other channels you can't get (have a look at Lyngsat).

Different transponders radiate at different power levels, so don't expect them to all be the same for a given satellite.

As SES seem to be reconfiguring their services during the day as they do a major swap around of transponders between satellites its quite possible that strange things will be happening for the next few days / weeks. Eutelsat had a better idea Hottie 7A was fired up in the small hours of the morning and only night owls or insomniacs noticed the channels going off air as Hottie 1 was decommissioned

Well i was bored so did yet another rescan last night and now all my channels are working including cnbc and sky news that ive never had working before.

Also dsf and the other missing channels still appear at channel 15 on my list but dont work however they also appear near the end of my channel list at something like channel 500-and- something so i now have all them working. Must have been due to this new thing you were on about as they are now different frequencies.

cheers for help
