Hi SAT-WORLD,
I don't think your programmer can load the Load2MB file as that is usually done the same as programming a gold card. Have you checked which COM port your loader software is using and which your programmer has listed ?
There are 2 Dragon loader software versions, dragonload and dragonload34, the first gives COM port options 1 and 2, the second gives COM port options 3 and 4.
The CIW loader automatically detects which COM ports your computer has and gives you the option to choose.
Which version of Predator are you trying to load, and have you read the how to instructions in the CIW loader?
You could also try the programmer in Smatmouse 6MHz mode as some programmers prefer this, if all else fails try erasing the card first.
Please post back with the results
Best wishes

Thanks BGonaStick.
However,as Mickha has said,it's not possible to load the Load2MB file,as the dragonloader software, only will allow dra files only, not hex files which is what Load2MB is.
The software sees nothing in the folder, hence it can't be loaded.
I was trying to load Predator 3.42,at first and have tried,3.43 as well.
Yes,i've read all the instructions for both the CIW software and Dragonloader.exe.
To top it all,I've read Mickha numerous instructions in practically all the google archives it seems
I've erased the card as well, several times, and tried the smartmouse 6Mhz mode.
Thanks for the replies Guys.

Well you know what to do next...

Get a new Dragon loader card!

You could also try getting an old goldcard and programming that to prove your Cryptik programmer, cable, PC and com port settings are good.

Hi SAT-WORLD,
the best of it is that any old funcard programmer will load the Load2MB file, so if you know anyone with an old programmer, or find an old programmer cheap it might be worth an investment. Personally I think an old Infinity programmer is a good investment, if you can find one cheap enough.
I'll search around and see if there is any other software you can try with your current programmer.
Best wishes

@BGonaStick

Don't think the owner of the card,is going to be pleased to hear that bit of advice.
Will try your suggestion, when I get hold of a gold card.
Thanks.

@Mickha

Thanks for the offer to search for more software.

It sounds like you've changed everything else, and they're only £12

Hi SAT-WORLD,
when you tried using the original dragonload software did you get the old error message, unable to connect, check settings, programmer and card, or did you get a different error message this time? Seeing as you've checked everything else the fault seems to lie with the card, the Load2MB file, is a fix for a faulty card, but unfortunately I can't find a way you can load this onto the card using your programmer.
If some member lives nearby, who can check the card for you, using their programmer, or another option would be to have the supplier replace the card, if you email and explain the problem, they should replace the card, hopefully checking it first.
Best wishes

Hi Mickha

Thanks for getting back.
The first programmer with the original dragon loader card and software, was not even being recognised i.e not connected, despite making all the different changes e.g com port, mode, cable etc.
With the Cryptik programmer, the programmer is being recognised, and using both the dragonloader exe and CIW software, connects fine,it then starts to program, and states "programming started",the write light is on,then goes out.It then states "loader error".
If i erase the card using CIW software,it states "erasing started",and the erase.tmp file is shown, but whether it actually does or not,I'm not sure,as there's no further confirmation,to say card erased.
I have inserted the card in to a t-rex cam,and it does state every time "No image".
I will pass on your suggestion, about contacting the card supplier.
Thanks again.
