Default 'New' old satellite appears at 31.5 degrees east

A replacement for Turksat 1b?

The 20 year-old Optus A3, a refugee from Australasia, has sneeked its way around the globe and plonked itself at 31.5E. It's currently carrying some SES test channels.

It looks like it's in inclined orbit, and a huge 8 degrees at that.

Have a play at different times of day and see if you can pick something up from it. There are reports that it's possible.

Frequency: 12340 or 12473
Polarisation: Horizontal
SR: 22000
