Well, I'll resort to one of the most un-loved phrases in the satellite game...
"Let's wait and see"... ![]()

OK, looks like we're in business - it's FTA.
Let's hope that they have some better movies than 'Lost in Translation' though - categorically the worst film I have ever seen. Ever. I've watched more interesting episodes of Eastenders : ![]()

Hi again,
It's so nice when your interpretation turns out to be correct - FTA right enough. The Radio Times regards "Lost in Translation" as the film of the week and it was on at 9.00 p.m. tonight, but I missed it - but it will probably be on again. There's an added bonus - this coming week they're showing a cavalcade of Marx Brothers films and I would imagine that they will be pretty good picture quality. I attended a special showing in Glasgow a year or two ago showing a double bill - "Duck Soup" and "Day at the Races", in the Glasgow Film Theatre. The films were newly made prints from the original negatives and the picture quality was excellent. I might hook up the video machine to the satellite output - I already have most of them on tape, but from analogue broadcasts from BBC so years ago - mostly between Christmas and New Year. Might be a chance to relive old memories - might add that I was NOT around when these films were made, not even thought of!! Now, if you ever get to see "The Radio Parade of 1935" starring Will Hay and with the final dance sequence in Dufaycolour (a three dot film colour system) then that would be a real treat. I have two videotapes of that one, restored by the BBC some years ago. Ramblings now end.
