Default C band

Can C Band transmissions be received on the bog standard digital receivers(DVB)?.
Or in order to receive do they need the compatible dish and receiver.
Thanks.

Only if they are designed to receiver C-band transmissions. (C-band is around 4GHz - our normal Ku band is up around 11GHz.)

You also need a dish of something over 1.2m, and a c-band lnb
