Default 1 for Analoguesat

hi m8,i have just got one of these receivers off ebay for a tenner lol.im a 36 volts user as well.im have a bit of trouble with mine on the wires at the back of the receiver.(useing a 24 inch jack)i can move my dish by steps from the remote for the star trak 850e.but i can not get the east west limits set as in getting the words jack error, but the dish moves.the position counter stays at 5000 & will not move.i bought this receiver without a manual.can someone please be kind enough to let me know if 4 core wire is enough?should i need 6 core for the motor?can someone put me right on the wireing at the back of the receiver.help lol.or does anyone know where i can get a manual on the web for a alog star trak 850e receiver. thx from.

Mickha might be able to help, Analoguesat's on holiday ATM

AFAIK, there are only four wires required. Where do you get the concept of six wires?

Star Trak 850e? I'll have a quick squizz, see if I can't sniff something out.

hi stick, thx that confirms what i thought as to 4 wires needed.iv tryed just about all ways i can think of at the back or the receiver for wireing and where thay go.the dish will move ok by click click 1 count at a time.but the couner position stays on 5000 what would be the south faceing satellite.(ie 1 west)the 5000 should be going up or down when moveing east or west.with this i can not set the east west limites atm.be for the star trak was on i had a tm dapci 5500 to move me dish.its donkeys years since iv used a alog receiver,so i think me wireing is wrong.thank m8y.

Hi satsid,
I can't locate any documentation or technical data for this receiver, the only thing I came across was the same as you, an old post on another forum, without an answer.
Seeing as you've got the dish moving, an accomplishment in itself, you must have some of the wires correctly fitted.
Is there anything in the menu to allow a factory reset, whereby you can set the limits, and re-program the satellite positions?
I'll keep looking but I don't hold out much hope unless someone kept an old manual and will share the information.
I hope you get it working, at least it's a new, well old, toy to play with.
Best wishes
Mickha

hi Mickha,on the right side looking from the back there is a plasic cover.i removed this 2 wires go there, this moves the dish east and west i think.so i take it these to are right atm.now the cover is back on.there are another 8 places for the other 2 wires these i cant find the right combo how thay go.errrrrr.its getting a right pain in the butt.when i had my old lt87000 i never had this problem before it died on me.iv got pics on 19e but have to leave the menu up,i see eurosport & all the white wrighting errrrr.for alog it pulls in a great pic in ku band.if i can get this sorted out i will post some c-band things and info maybe a pic or 2.this is why im trying to get this done.but im not leaveing on & going click click & one count a time lol.please keep looking and thx.

This probably wont help with your query,as it's for the Star Trak 800,but i'll post it anyway Satsid.

I found the same two items as SAT-WORLD, but nothing else of any use. I thought I'd be able to turn something up
