This is what it's supposed to do. Mixed reaction so far...

Software version: HDXZCI 1.00.07, HDMXSCI 1.00.07

Improved AC3 over HDMI.
Added HD channel Group function.
Added Advanced search function.
Improved HDMI hot plug stability.
Improved A/V lip sync.
Improved Picture quality.

I'll download and give it a try, interesting the 'improved picture quality' statement after some of the feedback the box has recieved on the SD front.....

Yes, some reports say "Wow, picture much better" while others say "WTF?" :roflmao:

Think the original firmware was a little half-baked - the quality was inconsistent on different screens - but Humax seem to be doing the decent thing now :clap:
