Russian news channel Russia Today has appeared on Information TV 2 on Sky epg 182 for 21 hours a day with a gap round lunchtime for a teleshopping channel that has obviously paid for their time previously

This is part of a growing trend for foreign broadcasters to buy air time on UK services. Nigerian news service ATI transmits overnight on OBE.

Birmingham based Raj TV (187) have gone off air whilst they restructure the operation. They are planning on moving over towards more live programming, although the most popular of the current recorded shows will be retained

NTL seem to have ended their broadband & telephone packages adverts on Broadband UK (epg 663). Vector Direct appear to have taken over the programming.

According to a reliable source, BSkyB suspended five of the six Vectone TV channels EPG for "non-compliance". Meaning, the EPG slots were not used to their full potential. The removed Vectone TV channels were not broadcasting the hours that were agreed with Sky. All that remains of Vectone now is their 'Vectone2U' channel, which broadcasts a mere 2 hours a day (minimum time agreed with Sky).

Vectone 2U was also pulled off the epg a couple of days after this!
