Looks like Eat Cinema will be rebranding to My Channel. The licence name has been changed on the Ofcom list and theres very little cinema related programming shown now.

RTE are to launch in the UK. It will be a channel for Irish expats, and we will NOT be getting the full RTE package. Until we get more details I shall refer to the channel as RTE (UK). Its expected to launch early in 2007.

We are now into the "Sky platform freeze" for the Christmas / New Year period. There will not be any more changes to epg numbers until after the end of the holiday period (unless a company goes bankrupt....)

News for those of you that use the Sky Box Office signed service:

Please note that from January 3rd 2007 the Signed service on SBO 745 will no longer be available. Audio Described films will continue to be available on channel 744."

SBO 745 appears to be closing completely.

Russian news channel Russia Today has moved to EPG 516.

The switch allows the channel to move to Sky's 'News' category of the EPG, where before the channel was only available via Info TV 2 EPG 182.

Russia Today brings news of key events in Russia, as well as covering worldwide events from a Russian perspective - a channel oriented towards a global audience.
