hi lads i got a satalite box and dish installed today. its a triax sr110.im using astra 28e.is there sum sort of software that i put in to the box to get more channels.i have 130channels.i should think that there wud be a lot more.is there a way to get sport channels also.any help would be appreciated.

Nope - the Sky UK encryption is nice and secure so you can watch a couple of hundred free to air channels only

If you want the sports channels then you ring up the nice folks at Sky Customer servixces and pay them huge amounts of wonga every month.

Not the UK channels using that kit no.


There are some VERY advanced bits of kit that use a card share technique BUT the receivers are advanced enthusiasts receivers and you need weeks if not months of tinkering to learn how to use them.

BTW - if you are interested dont expect any detailed help here or on most other forums. We only allow general discussion of the techniques involved & many of the old hands refuse to get involved in any discussions whatsoever.
