Star One and Star Gold are expected to launch Monday November 20th

Recently launched Eat Cinema are obviously struggling - much of the cinema related programming is to be jettisoned, and teleshopping & girlie chat is to take over most of the primetime/daytime hours from November 1st

2am - 8am: Eat Cinema programming
8am - 8pm: "Day Chat" ("Talk to our girls about anything you like!")
8pm - 11pm: Teleshopping
11pm - 2am: The Great Big British Quiz

Plus, Broadband 2 has relaunched as Star Date TV and has been added to 876. I had a look earlier, and its truly awful.......

Sky News Ireland is to slim down is operations:

Sky News has announced plans to severely cuts its news operation in Ireland. Currently, 25 people are based in Dublin, where two daily half-hour bulletins are produced for Sky subscribers in Ireland These will end on 30 November, and the staff will be reduced to just four people. In Belfast, the current staff of five will be cut to just one. Sky News Ireland was set up in May 2004.
