Noor TV have announced they will be testing from October 9th with a launch on October 23rd. They will be fta. They will be an Islamic education channel.

Aapna Channel is expected to launch in October. they will be a Pahari language service.

Family Radio, the non-commercial and non-profit 24-hour Christian station will be returning to the Sky platform after signing an uplink deal with WRN.

The channel launched on Sky in 2002 but it was removed last month after a few technical problems.

The Christian station has signed a Eurobird satellite contract with WRN, the international radio and television transmission service provider.

Family Radio was previously using Astra satellite capacity. WRN already provides Family Radio with uplink and capacity services to the Hot Bird 6 satellite for coverage across Europe.

Matt Tuter, Station Manager for Family Radio, comments: "WRN has been there when we've needed them in the past, and their high quality of service remains constant."

Family Radio has been broadcasting since 1959. It owns several radio and television stations in the United States, along with international short wave station WYFR. Family Radio currently produces programming in 15 languages for distribution through various outlets around the world.

Family Radio will return to EPG 0159 in the next few days.

A new ITV1 sub region is epg testing on 10714H 22000 5/6. It is believed to be ITV1 Central South West (Basically the output from the Ridge Hill transmitter). This is likely to be in preparation for the new ITV1 Thames Valley sub region coming later in the year - some transmitter shuffles are required to keep some areas on the right ITV area..
