Default Is it my Spanish or poor quality Sat Radio

Like to listen to foreign language radio stations. Found the following TP on Hotbird which seems to be the home of Spain's national radio channels - 11785 H 27500. Now it may be that I over estimated my abilities in or my enthusiasm for Spanish, but the audio quality here seems very poor. A shade of distortion and maybe the impression that everybody is sitting a long way from the microphones. It would be interesting if someone could say if it realy is poor audio or just me blaming the Spannish for not speaking how I would like them to'

Radio Exterior currently has some woman sitting right on top of the mic, and it's horribly over-modulated, but the other radio stations are fine - nice quality.

Most of the programming at the moment is phone-in's though, so half the conversation is rubbish quality!

LOL, the woman on Radio Exterior also has a mobile phone going off in the background, so not too professional all round

Thanks a lot for checking that for me. Don't know what" horribly over modulated" means. I just felt that compared to BBC radio on Sky, or the German stations Astra 1 the quality was poor. But yes it could be down to production values, mobile in background etc that I have a block when it comes to paying it alot of attention. It just so much easier when both content and production values are high to learn stuff from the radio. Have only just started searching for quality Spanish radio and these looked like state radio so was expecting the best, will look for recommendation on this subject around the ether.
