I recently acquired 4 single lnb's and 1 dual dish network lnb for my ongoing satellite project.
![]() I have noticed that my 2 Amstar lnbs are 0.3dB, my Chess Platinum 2 is 0.2dB and my Starsat lnb is 0.5dB. I have no idea what the dish network lnb is or even if it will work with any of the european sats as the US Dish Network appears to use l/h & r/h circular polarisation rather than the usual h/v polarisation, so i'm guessing that i may have to change it or be stuck with the same problem i have with my BSB squarial. Whats the difference regarding dB figures? :? I am intending to set my 80cm dish up for 19.2e and 13e, leave my sky minidish at 28.2e and hopefully set my newley acquired dish network 500 20" dish at 5w and 1w if it works. ![]() Which lnbs would be best suited for each satellite location? Help with these questions would be most appreciated. Thanks nano.

nanochickin,
It would be interesting to see the signal levels and quality you get with each of the lnbs. Mickha is right, past comparisons have shown .3 nbs of one make to be no better than other makes who quote .6. The most important thing is to go for the better makes such as MTI Blueline or Invacom, but then you already have yours. Lets hope you get good results
