Default Lidl Equipment - esp dish

http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pa...0828.index.ar8

Any thoughts on this stuff, especially the dish and LNB (0.6db :roflmao.

Could it pick up a good signal from 13e from Liverpool? Receiver will be technomate.

Or will this be a false economy and I will end up buying a trix or similar after becoming fed up with this one.

Anyone bought any of this stuff from Lidl before? I understand they have had similar offers in the past.

Thanks.

The 85cm one should be fine mate.
Should be an average LNB.
Good deal for less than £20

The technomates are fairly senitive in the tuner Dept. So go for it, and get RG6 or CT100 cable for it.

Get there early - the sat stuff often disappears in no time.

I'm presuming that the 3.99 LNB can be used with an analogue receiver too? I'm toying with getting the 85cm dish as my main dish (to go with the eventual motor on a scaffold pole) which will leave me with a spare 60cm dish which, as I also have an old analogue receiver, will only require an LNB to receive the remaining analogue channels (specifically France2, France3, France5 and M6 on AtlanticBird3 as these channels still haven't gone over to digital).

Yep, that'll be fine mate. LNB's and dishes don't care which it is.
