Then your receiver is OK

If your dish alignment is correct, it must be your LNB or one of the other conditions above. Work your way through them one by one.

Like engine size in a car dictating the sort of power output, signal strength in the satellite world is directly related to dish size. So yes, the bigger the better - but 80cm or 90cm would be a good compromise in your location.

Are you sure that there are no obstructions, trees and whatnot in your line of sight?

I'm not sure that there is a reliable patch for your Starlight, or even if there ever was, but as your receiver has a CAM slot I would suggest buying either a Diablo Light CAM, an older Dragon CAM, or the later Dragon/T-Rex 4.5 CAM.

I would base your decision on what you want to receive and how much you want to spend. The price of the older Dragon 4.1 should fall significantly now, as no further commercial hacks will be made available for it. It should still receive quite a lot of support for the 'public' hacks though as so many people have them and can patch the Predator firmware.

That's about your best option. Have a look around the online retailers. Search the forum here, or just browse through the CAMs Cards & Programmers board.

Based on what you want to do, we can direct you to the right place for files.

Ah, I see.

Then it's simply time to upgrade your CAM to one of those above
