Not sure what that is. Official embedded CAMs are great for official subscription cards of the correct type. Any other 'inbuilt' hardware CAMs should be regarded with suspicion, because I don't know of any!

Non-official internal CAMs are usually just emulators. These usually come embedded as part of a firmware hack.

They tend to fall out of date PDQ.

You'll need one of the above CAMs. Really.

These are all commercial hacks, and buying the CAM is your way of subscribing to the hack.

Of course, you know that everything might go black again tomorrow, and you'll be left with another dead CAM.

OK, I recommend that you wait a few weeks to see what channels are open on the T-Rex 4.5, and what the feedback from buyers is like.

If it's good, buy it and put it in your Starlight and hope it's compatible.

If it's not looking good, buy the Diablo light and stick it in your Starlight.

If they don't work, buy the Technomate TM-1500 CI+Super and try it in there. That should do it.

Code sites - I've listed some on your other post. Google for others.

You can't patch your system. There are no patches AFAIK.

The only cards worth buying right now are the Daytona card, which will give Premiere (including Premiership football, plus many other European leagues) or the K3 card, which will give TPS, Canal + France and Cyfra + depending on which file you load.
