Not much in the way of football with the Lidl receiver, but you can get everything marked as FTA at www.ftasat.co.uk and a lot more foreign stuff as well.

If you want premiership football you subscribe to Sky, or DigiAlb, or ART Sports. Theres about nil left fta - you are 2 years too late for fta UK football..

I dont know if the Lidl receiver will be any good for picking up feeds, but if a feed is found then possibly it will be ok for watching.

Have to be a real sat fan though because you will miss more matches than you will see.

As far as Premiership football is concerned, then as the guys have said - no chance on any satellite FTA unless you can get a feed.

The Comag/Silvercrest SL65 does have a blind scan facility (it's a very nice little box) so this will help a lot, but Premiership feeds seem to be encrypted more often than not these days anyway.

Other than that, there is loads of other European, African, Arabic football FTA. Check out LJ's here: _http://liveonsat.com/ for what can be had.

I've managed to find a few bits and pieces of football on Hotbird and Astra 1. No idea who was playing though.

If you were pointed at 28.2E then on Eurobird 1 at 11681V, 27500, they're showing Real Madrid, if that's any help.
