Guys - get Realplayer 10.0.8.805 in on my Ubuntu dapper distro and it seems to be jamming and buffering constantly.
Had it working fine for a while a couple of days ago on another install but deleted and reinstalled the OS and it keeps doing this !!
Conn speed is a touch under 3Mb/S.

Any ideas ??

Don't have Linux running here anymore, but have you gone through the never-ending number of connectivity options and preferences in Realplayer?

I guess you've tried several different sources of streaming media?

Wants this or WMP. May try deleting the whole thing and unpacking the tar file again.
Annoying thing is it was working on this distro. Yep fiddled with the transport options, but the auto 'seems' to work (at least it did).
OK mate, will find out this arvo and let you know what it was.

I installed Real Player 10 using automatix its working fine on Kubuntu m8. Try Uninstalling and then reinstalling

I use mplayer for the bbc feeds. works lovely.
