Thieves in Hungary have stolen some tapes of the BBC's new prime-time series "Robin Hood," stalling completion of some of the 13 episodes, the broadcaster said.
The British Broadcasting Corp. would not comment on a report in The Daily Mirror on Monday that the tapes were the only copies and that thieves were demanding payment of $1.9 million for their return. "Robin Hood" is being taped in Hungary by production company Tiger Aspect. "Tiger Aspect has been the victim of a break-in in Hungary where `Robin Hood' is currently being filmed and some high-definition tapes and other equipment have been stolen," the BBC said Monday in a statement. "The thefts are causing inconvenience and have resulted in a delay in finalizing some of the episodes. Tiger Aspect is taking all reasonable steps to recover the tapes." The series, due to air later this year in BBC1's Saturday early evening slot, stars newcomer Jonas Armstrong in the title role, with Keith Allen as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Lucy Griffiths as Maid Marian. The series is partly funded by BBC America, the broadcaster's U.S. cable channel.

I remember some years ago a fellow organist was asked to play the theme from "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves" for a wedding - what was actually played was the theme for the old black & white series on ITV, "Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen..."
A Diapason is an 8 foot-long organ pipe which plays bottom "C" and there are 61 others all at different lengths which play all the different notes - so now you all know!

Blimey, I've been subconsciously trying to work out how you would pronounce your nick, and what the hidden meaning was for quite some time. In my experience, nearly all nicks have some relevance, but I admit that I had given up on yours :
