I didn't know they did a 1.5m Gibertini!? 8)
That probably performs nearly as well as the Andrews 1.8m based on the Gibertini 1.25m. Something new for me to lust after :spite: The Invacom 0.3dB LNB is what I'd go for on that dish too. A jack is definitely the way to go if you want it motorised, but it's going to be an expensive polar mount, I bet ![]() You don't need a dish that large for most satellites, so it's a bit of a waste unless you're searching out something else exotic. I'd have it fixed, and add a smaller motorised dish. The Dreambox is the ultimate receiver for someone who wants to view those packages and others. Not the cheapest, but the best. STICK

Hi london-guy,
Well I tried 7 west last night and couldn't clear anything so I think going for a large dish just to get 7 west would be a waste. The mention of the dreambox made my ears pop up. There is so much out there in addition to 7 west channels and I am sure you would find plenty to your liking. With a dreambox, a router connecting the dreambox to a pc and to the internet, and a 900 mm motorised dish you would find lots to watch from all over Europe and the Middle East. There is lots of on-line help available for the dreambox if you get stuck.

Unfortunately they seem to be the importer, all gibbi dishes bought in the UK seem to have one of their stickers on.
Still, lovely setup for not very much cash. L. ![]() |

i think jack will be good as well B GunaStick the 18 inch looks good for the 1.50 its £ 40 and the dish is £ 182 The Polar Mount is £ 34 but i think at least you get a good signal in Nilesat and also some satellites like Amos and Thor

Yes, I'm sure it will do a good job with most satellites. You just have to tackle the practicalities of installing it and/or getting the required permissions. I theory you will need planning permission for a dish that large.
Don't forget though, that it won't get all of the Nilesat channels.
