hi london guy,Invacom Quad LNB with c120 feedhorn are knowen as very good with channel master dishes from 1.2 meter up in size.it does not have to be a Quad lnb here.if i put a normal lnb with out feedhorn my signel will go down a lot.this is why,it wont hit the edges of my dish,so signel goes down.my thinking with this is,why spend loads on a good dish like a channel master, then put a crappy lnb onit.its worth spending that bit more, then you know your getting the best out the dish.

hi m8 i take it you in london,if i was you i would by telesat international mag first.use the disk on your pc.with dish track from the disk.this is why.this will tell you what your see, just click on london if your there or where you live.even though i was born in london im now in the north uk,so my signel will be weaker from 7 west.so you should get more than me.i think a 1.2 would be on the small side, you have to also take into account bad wether as signel will drop off.my advice is a 1.8 channel master would serve you best with Invacom Quad LNB with c120 feedhorn.you also should beat me on hor signels from there.on a 1.2 meter channel master you might well get the verts, but dont hold me to this.
all the best.

Tee hee... this has been an interesting thread, but we're now right back where we were in post two with the Channel Master 1.8m getting most of the channels (verticals) but not all

You did say that the 1.8m was too big for your location. Do you now think that you might get away with it?

What mounting possibilities do you have? A garden? A flat roof?
