Default what channels can i expect to get with free to air......

hi , just got sky box for other room, just wondered what channels were free to air, i also have card but don't gain anything with that .

i get same channels barring 4-5, with card in , and that seems to be it .
i thought i'd read somewhere, that you got extra free channels with the card.

do i have to do a software upgrade, or register card with sky.

or take out a cheap subscription, i'll search this site again,i've seen a list of free sky channels before but can't find.

thanks for any replies......

A FTV card only gives you C4, C5 and Sky 3 Thats it, although Five Life and Five US are likely to be ftv when they launch in October.

No. there are card splitters available (WotSat mentioned one in the current edition) but they dont work with NDS-Videoguard that Sky use. You need a multiroom subscription if you are in the uk.
