Default Monobloc for astra1 and astra2 ?

Hi all

Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a monoblock with two lmb's set to give astra1 and astra2 from the same dish..ie. one output from the LMB block.
This would be very usefull as I use Astra2 mostly but have to move the dish about once a week when something comes on the German channels of Astra1 that I want to see...
Sooner or later I'm gonna fall off the ladder...

Best wishes ...Laz.

A monobloc typically gives 6 degree separation. 19E to 28E is going to be 9 degrees. Both sets of satellites transmit at high power, so you may get something, but you would be far better off with 2 independant lnb's wired through a disecq switch.

Hi laz I don't there is a monoblock that does astra 1 and 2 but you can fit 2 lnbs to your dish to pick up 2 satellites from 1 dish. I am sure one of the other more experienced peeps here will be able to fill you in better

It can definately be done. I did it by total accident when i was trying to do 13e & 19e. I had the second lnb on the wrong side of the arm. Pity as it had quite a good signal strength, mind you it should have on an 80cm dish
