hi mates
i find a programme in the internet called SatelliteTVforPC the website for it is :

anybody has any idea about it does it worth a try or not ?

Sounds a bit iffy to me. There are a lot of tv channels that broadcast streams over the net I think but to get anything decent you need a really high speed broadband connection. I would get a satellite reciever or pc card instead m8

It probably would but I wouldn't pay for information and a program to get the channels over the internet. There are tv stations available in Winamp so you can see teh sort of thing you can expect

Well said Jonty.

It's a bit of a scam, really. They are usually just a huge collection of otherwise publicly available poor quality, low availability transient illegal webstreams whose subscription servers fill up ten minutes before kickoff and make the site owners rich.

There are hundreds of such services, and all those that I've looked into have been rubbish IMO.

That's not to say all streams are rubbish. Go to the right place to find a stream and it can be quite watchable.

Not a patch on DTH satellite though

I guess a lot are off-air. I tried maybe a dozen and got 4 or 5 to work. Reuters are carrying footage of Saddam Hussein's hanging :-X

Not a bad site, but just a collection of freely available links form around the web.
