Cheers Stick

Can I make a suggestion ?

Can't we have a forum/sticky of the new updates that come out with a link to the Alsat thread they are in ? i.e. the new patches, keys, channel lists etc. None will be posted on this site, just a link to where they are ?

Might make things a little easier to digest ?

I've got to say that the channel list I uploaded to my TM is one of thes best things ever - takes out all the garbage & puts things in an easy to browse format

Whilst I agree that a link to the stuff would be nice to have, we don't link to other forums for many reasons.

I particularly wouldn't provide any links to the forum you mention, as it is purely a business venture and it's not my job to boost their profits They expressly forbid the merest mention of other forums, so...

The patches are also available on satdudez and other places which are much more hobby-related.

I also feel that it's better to just redirect people in a generic fashion, as other boards are likely to reorganise and move stuff about from time to time.

We do occasionally post dead links to specific areas on other boards, but it's the exception rather than the rule.

Not a problem mate, just though it would be easier to find/download/update

Anyways - I'm waiting to get a spare half hour to put my new cable down properly around my fence before posting some pics !
