Default Help, which dish?

I wonder what disc I should buy for my caravan system. I have a tripod and all the kit bar the dish as I dont now which one to buy. I will be touring the North of Scotland. dont need SKY+ just SKY. Should I buy a separate LNB. Digital. Any help would be appeciated.

Hi Micky, welcome to the forum :welc1:

I like the smaller Triax dishes for travelling, because the LNB arm folds flat for transportation without any dismantling. The TD78 (80cm diameter) and TD 88 (90cm diameter) both have this feature.

If space is at a premium in your van, then you might opt for the TD78. For all-weather reception guaranteed you might opt for the larger one. Either should be fine really, if well aligned.

Any decent 'universal' LNB will also be fine. MTI Blue line, Invacom, Inverto, Humax, Triax, Sharp, Syntec or try one of the cheaper ones.

Thanx, like the idea of fold away LNB arm. will research suppliers and costs. Have gone round in circles over this one
