Yes, I think you're dead right. The FA without the backing of the Premiere League and Sky don't have the clout to go after Al Jazeera. I hope so anyway.

so speaking hypothetically, if I had the single Art sport/Aljezeera sport 1+2 card and Art sport was taken off air in the future would I still be able to watch programmes broadcast by Aljezeera?

in Morocco i used to get Aljazeira sport+1 and +2 card for 35 pounds for a year

Hi London-guy, that's good to know. My question was more of a technical one realy as I don't yet have a system and consequently am a bit green about cams and cards and all things satellite really.
I know you can get combined Art sport/Aljezeera card and wondered what would happen to the card if one of them was taken off the air!
