When packages alter their keys it's not always necessary to load a new Predator file, you can update the keys manually using your receivers remote control.
Keys are in hex format, short for hexadecimal, which consists of 16 symbols, 0-9 and A-F, e.g. A4. These need to be altered to a Dec value, decimal number, which can be done using the scientific calculator option, in Windows Calculator, or it is much easier to use a tool like Matrix_Keyer which will convert them for you, A4 becomes 164. The keys are in blocks of 16 which are split into 2 blocks of 8, and these fit in the corresponding encryption key file in your Dragon Cam. For example you want to upgrade the D+ keys in your Cam. Go into your receiver menu, and the Cam menu. Enter the Dragon Cam menu, depending upon your Dragon Cam version, you should see: Smartcard. SIM Card. Debug. Settings. SIM card is for version 4.1 only. Enter the Debug option. Debug options are: Irduhto Sucka Negravision OhlAladin Viyuckses Clonax Exit D+ can be located in OhlAladin, D+ Nagra 2, 4101 You then need to discover which key to alter, in D+ you have 00 and 01. If the key is 00, the first 8 parts of the key go into 00-0, the second 8 parts go into 00-1. When updating the keys always look at the information, on the page, for which encryption is being used which gives you a clue as to where the keys go, and the id of the package. |

Thanks BGonaSTICK,
this utility will certainly help anyone new to changing Hex into Dec keys, it's quick and easy to use. I've tried the newer versions but still prefer this one. |
