Default Signal Strength

Is it normal to get a stronger signal off Astra 19E and Hotbird than Eurobird 28E? With my sat meter I always get a much stronger signal off them and hardly a beep off 28E

28E probably has the strongest average signal (across all the transponders) of any satellite serving Europe.

hmm must be something wrong somewhere then. With the satmeter I have the strongest signal goes to zero on 19E -2 on hotbird and between -3 and -4 on 28E. This is using the Single LNB I was using before. Do you think that the LNB could be the problem? Going to try using the monoblock as a single one to see if it makes any difference. Can't see it being that as it is actually a sky digital LNB.

I doubt it's the LNB. How are you powering the meter?

the meter is inline with the lnb and the skystar 2 m8 so I assume its powered by the lnb. What are you doing up at this time
