Default Is there a monoblock that does 19E and 28E???

Please excuse the laziness but has someone got, used or seen a monoblock that would do Astra and Astra 2, . But I do have an excuse for asking the one time I was thinking of buying a Monoblock, had it in my hand but there was no indication ( I could find) of the degree of separation it covered. I see they are mostly for Hotbird and Astra ( 6 degrees) so I'm looking for one that does 9 or is it 9.2 degrees.
tnx

No - as far as I am aware they are all 6 degrees. You will need to do a 2 lnb install.

I know of none either. The only ones I have seen are 3 degrees and 6 degrees

You can get one. Dish network in the states has an lnb with a 9 degree shift.

Is that Ku band with H/V polarisation Nano?

It might be worth importing some!

I think they may be L/R circular polarisation as thats what the birds are broadcasting, but they are definately KU band. They are for the birds at 119 east and 110 east. I think they have a wierd setup though to do with switching aswell. >

I thought I'd seen some H/V on those sats, but checking now they all look like L/R circular as you say.

Thanks for all your answers. Would have done alot of searching :? for something that does not exist. Saw something on Dr.Dish last Saturday about triple monoblock, forget details and just want basic for a German relation who needs just basic cheap install. 8)

I'm not a great fan of monoblocs personally.

They're a little bit easier to set up, but two LNBs and a switch is hardly going to cost anything extra and gives much more flexibility - and expansion capability too.

Chances are, if you can't set up two LNBs, then a monobloc is going to get away from you as well.

Also, if one of the LNBs or the switch dies, the whole lot is scrap (unless you're happy to limp along on reduced capacity).
