this may be a stupid question but

ok ive seen lots of posting about art cards?

what do you get for you money what sats is it on and are the channels in english ?

Lots of Englsih premiership footy on Hotbird satellite at 13E and english commentary.

how long has it stayed unlocked for ?

only got an sl65 right now but been a linux geek think ill upgrade to a dreambox later this year

Only set it up at the weekend mate - patched it last night & there are tons of channels now unlocked that were not originally !

Digital+ really did go down this morning

Was expected though.

No Discovery channels in English though, even when it's open. I really do think that the best way to get this is from Sky be it direct from your own card, or by sharing.

If you're a Linux geek and into satellite then a Dreambox is a must To be quite honest, if you can use FTP and read a readme.txt then you're in.

If you're also into HD and already have an HD telly, then you might want to wait until next year when the DM-8000 comes out.

You set up an internet link between 2 digital receivers (normally dreamboxes) and literally share the card over the net. Have a ggogle for card sharing, but be aware that many of the sites are commercial sites just set up to extract money, and theres no guarantee any share will stay up any length of time.

IMO CS is best enjoyed between a very closely knit and trusted groups of friends. If a group is infiltrated by someone with a different agenda (like a representative of one of the providers for example) then the least that will happen is that all your expensive subscription cards will be cancelled without warning or recompense.
