Default How to confuse Sky Customer Support

Had a phone call from Sky CS last night. The conversation went something like this

CS - hello this is Sky CS.
Me - hello
CS - you may be eligible for a special offer
Me - oh thats nice

security details taken

CS - you have the family pack
Me - thats right - Im not in the slightest bit interested in your sports or movies
CS - oh, that was the offer..................

At this point the girl really, really doesnt know what to say

The other good one that we pull on them sometimes is if my other haldf answers the phone

Sky CS - hello is Mr L available
Carol - sorry hes not here at the moment, can I help
Sky CS - Are you Mrs L
Carol - no Im his girlfriend
Sky CS - er oh
Carol - do you want me to give Mrs L a message when she comes in?

At which point they normally ring off rapidly. > >

When I retired, I cancelled my sub to sky and they rang me back and offered me half price for six months.
I told them I had just retired and as the government didn't want to pay me a living income, the first thing to go was my sky sub. They then said they could reduce it even more but I told them that as I mostly watched BBC and ftv channels I would just stick with the non-sub option. They left it at that saying I could come back at any time and I would get a special price.

Now why would I want to do that.

When I cancelled, the CS advisor told me abruptly that once I had cancelled, I wouldn't be able to watch any movies or premiership action at home - lol - she must never have heard of Art !!!
