Default Home from home!

Hi All,

Thanks to your help here I managed to set up a dish for my in laws on their static caravan. So when they are away from home they can still see some decent TV. The analogue and digital terrestrial reception is really crappy where they are so they were relieved to see the TV without the snow effect!

It works really well and signal Qual and Strength in 70's!! Woohoo. The pole is sunk well in the ground and I left him with instructions to clamp it to the wall.

Thanks guys!

Well done dinkle. You have got yourself some brownie points there.

Thanks for posting the pictures. One picture is worth a thousand words.

Yes, you are right. My father in law commented on how it keeps her in doors quiet. :roflmao:

Just have to find the time to set mine up properly now.

Cheers.

You might want to tell them to put the trailing cable into some trunking (narrow bore plastic water pipe or similar) just to stop wandering critters having a night-time nibble on the coax.

Apart from that a nice tidy install

Already sorted, the old boy is going to tidy that up - not sure what he has in mind, but he said not to worry about it.

Cheers,

Very nice.

Who said satellite dishes need to be big and ugly?

Top job

Thanks for the pics.
