Nope, but Technisat stuff is usually good.

It looks a lot like the STAB HH-100 which sells for £70 and has an excellent reputation. I wonder if it's just a re-badge?

Looks like it could be a real bargain

OOooooh.....good find Richie! One good thing that's happend to me in the last month is the acquisition of a 6 foot steel scaffold pole...so now I'm looking for motors. If this is possibly a rebadged HH-100 it can be used with my 80cm Lidl dish right?

Yes, please do - and if you get a chance to compare it to the STAB HH-100 let us know if you think it's mechanically the same. There's some info on the STAB here.

I ordered one too! Postage is a little steep, but hey if it arrives Next Day as it says then "New Toy Here Now" is always good!

Will try to document process as well! I have no personal experience of the STAB HH motors, they're the ones with nylon gears yes?

If memory serves, the Motecks are nylon and the STABs are bronze. I'm only guessing this particular motor is STAB-like.

Bronze gears should wear better (harder, though maybe not as tough) but they will be a bit noisier. The STABs seem to be better engineered inside, with an extra limit sensor and a better PCB.

That's come from the darkest depths of my brain ('bout an 1/8" down), so might not be 100% correct.

Look forward to hearing your opinions.
