Footie on FT1 in France - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi Guys, the Scotland v France game on Saturday is on Sky or FT1 in France, I don't fancy standing in the pub
as I'm having a day in the mountains. Had a go at trying to find where I should get FT1 (which I believe is FTA), does anybody out there know how to get this channel. Yes you've guessed it, I'm not fluent in French but I think where I'll be, I may get Radio Scotland.

Any help wold be appreciated

TF1 is not fta in digital, although it is in analogue on 5W.

The FT1 services appear to be the mobile services for TF1 and I doubt they will be available in the Scottish mountains. If you are in the Alps then perhaps with the right equipment you might be lucky. But if you are in France then you would probably make it to the match.

Have a look at the Lynsat site for frequencies and mobile links. I notice on the 5W satellite there are a lot of feeds and some France TV HD test services. You never know, you might be lucky.

The Scotland match is on TF1, which as Analoguesat says is only FTA in Analogue on 5W.

TF1 is also available on Hotbird in (amongst others) TPScrypt which is hacked if you have the right setup.
