It looks very good specification wise.

It has all the right connectors (2 x HDMI, CI, USB, component, digital audio etc.) although I don't know how having all the connectors at the side works. It must be arranged so that you can't see them from the front.

The only thing it doesn't have is Ethernet, but that's not that common from what I've seen.

It says the resolution is 1366 x 768, but it doesn't actually say which broadcast formats are supported, and you can't assume that because the resolution is seemingly capable of 1080p that the TV will do this. That would be the main thing I would want to find out. I'd expect it to do 1080i and 720p as a minimum.

heres a bit more info.
DirektDigital is a function designed to provide optimum picture quality. The integrated multi-tuner ensures that digital input signals (from satellite, cable or terrestrial sources) are sent on direct, and do not undergo any digital/analogue conversion on the way to the HD-Vision screen. The result: the best possible picture quality, even with PAL signals.

Display
Size: 40" / 102 cm
Type: TFT LCD (flat screen)
Format: 16:9
Resolution: 1366 x 768 (lines x rows)
Number of colours: 16,7 million
Dynamic contrast: 5000:1
Contrast ratio: 1200:1
Brightness: 500 cd/m2
Reaction time: 8 ms

the Contrast ratio is higher than others iv looked at.this seems to be what most others are a contrast ratio of 1000:1.have a look from products then click on the 2nd tv from end.here you see the sat points.

I would certainly see the screen working with a SD picture before buying, because that is what you will be watching most for the next few years. I have seen a number of posts where people have been unhappy with a normal SD picture on their LCD panels. The LCD panel only comes into its own for HD and PC material.

I would certainly never buy a TV without either seeing one in the flesh or having a cast iron money-back guarantee if I wasn't happy with the quality.

Jim makes a very good point about SD too. That's 90% of the deal at the moment. I would also be very concerned about the internal receiver not being able to handle BBC HD due to the stupid system they're using.

BBC HD would be the other 10% for me BTW, at least until Premiere HD is available again.
