Default HD RCA TV 61 INCH

I just recently purchased the HD Direct TV Receiver and the picture on my RCAHD61LPW42 inch HD TV was amazing. Yesterday I was channel surfing and I noticed that the color green was all over the picture.
I turned the high Def channels the sea was a shade of green. The picture is darker and the damm
color green is indented on the screen. I checked my component cables I even switch them.
I also put a DVD in my player and the green was in there too. Can any one help me I don't want to call for service for some thing minor. I would appriciate any help on this matter..
HELP ME GET THE GREEN OUT !!!!!!!

Thanks to all !!!

Hi hgonzo.

Logically, I would say that you have done the right thing by trying your DVD player. That's eliminated the source components from the equation.

You've changed the component cables, which is good.

Have you tried a different connection method? Maybe you don't have HDMI, but what other connection types do you have? Can you try SCART?

Check through any menu settings for the TV. Experiment with different picture formats. Read the instruction manual, especially the troubleshooting section. It may sound obvious, but it's the first thing they're going to ask you when you call for service.

Have you tried leaving it totally unplugged from the mains for a few hours?

Other than that, I'd get straight on the phone
