What I can say is that my reception on three satellites was undiminished during a spell of torrential and horizontal rain here in Scotland
I dont know about anyone else but the signal on all 3 dishes of mine pointing at 4 birds went ever so wobbly at 6 o'clock 6 this morning during that nice bit of torrential rain & thunder and lightning we had.

Pixilation and freezing everywhere. It even screwed up the cable and freeview for an hour or so.

Nothing worse when your trying to feed a six day old baby and your telly picture goes funny. >

One was not amused.

Electrical storms do play havoc with the digital signals.

I find that helping others is the best way of learning yourself. You have to do a bit of research so that you don't make a total ar*e of yourself.

Well not every time anyway.

Isn't this around the time Film 4 on Freeview changed from Ch31 to Ch29?
We had problems on that day, we guessed it to be the addition of Ch35 and Ch36.

Hi, Nanochicken,

All through terrible rainstorms on Wednesday, but, admittedly, no electrical storms, I was still receiving excellent pictures in Scotland.

I was pixillated myself the other night but they can do wonderful things nowadays!!
