OK, what happens if you double-click the usb folder icon bottom right on the right hand pane?

Do it and either post another screenshot, or describe what folders you see.

What's probably confusing you is that I've got the file path wrong - I'm running a different version of the Dreambox so I'm fumbling in the dark a bit.

I really dont know what is going on now. I dont see the usb stick in the right pane in the parent directory of my dbox. The usb folder is in media folder. I really think it would be wise for u to get excess to the db.

If you can forward port 21 I'll be able to access it.

Can you not just click the usb folder under the /media directory, as posted in your picture?

i.e. /media/usb?

I just need to see the folders underneath that to know where to go next.

the above are all folders except beside info there is a status file

You need to go to your network connections, select your Ethernet card -> Properties -> Advanced tab -> Internet Connection Sharing: Settings... -> Services tab -> [x] FTP Server -> Edit... -> IP: 192.168.1.6; External Port: 21; Internal Port: 21

... or something like that...
