What model and size are we talking about here? ISS make Mesh dishes, solid dishes in various sizes. :?

Can you be a bit more specific please.

Is it like the one below?

I use a GlobalOrbit 80R dish and have had no problems and excellent signal strength and Quality with 2 lnbs on Hotbird & Astra 1

See ebay item number 260031304029. Bargain @ under £20. This is the same guy i had mine off, he does quite a quick delivery time. I'm not trying to advertise for him i just think its a good idea to let other people know what his company is like to deal with.

He also does a deal with an lnb for an extra £5 but be warned i found the Chess Platinum II lnb to be very problematic :?. Pesonally i would buy the dish and get another lnb from elsewhere. I can recommend the Amstar Neosat 0.3dB lnb if your on a budget, or if you want to push the boat out try an MTI Blueline lnb. I hear that Stick is very fond of them. :roflmao:

From what i have found looking around the internet it does appear that ISS do make a 1.5m high gain dish in white. As for how good they are i don't know. :?

If you don't mind me asking why do you need a 1.5m dish, ah just looked at your profile, didn't realise you were in france. That would explain it.

In all honesty the Gibertini dishes seem to be the best on offer from what i can a few people on the forum have been saying. I would go for one of them. :

I think that london-guy said in one of his old posts that he was, err, how do I put this...

...in London! :roflmao:

But then I can see that he's on a UK connection too, so I'm cheating more than a bit

Nilesat is the target I believe...

The ISS dish is OK AFAIK, but certainly nothing special.

hi stick, wether he is there or not lol.i would move to france as its much better than here for many satellites.a lot seem 2 be best from germany for wide range of them.but france i would like to go 2,its not 2 far away in sat reception as 2 what i would see.the main problem would be the wife here hmmmmm lol.i saw a place i liked nice & out the way for £14.000.the walls were good so was the roof a nice bit of land onit 2.i could at a push do this now,but iv a other half to think of,knowing my luck the day i do get this in my head 2 realy go for it.the prices will go well up.

Nilesat in london on a 1.5m dish. Do me a cheezy. :roflmao:

As long as the pope is catholic theres no way you would get all the transponders on anything smaller than a 2.4m dish. I would guess you might get some of the vertical polarized transponders with a 1.5 meter dish but not much else.
