Hi,
Got my equipment up currently i'm receiving Astra on 19.8. (70% signal) using a 82 cm triax dish, Sunny dc 1030 receiver.. Position is belgium coast 51N 3.3E I'm using a sat finder but as i can't seem to finds 28E i'm wondering if i'm standing behind the dish facing 19.8 Would i have to adjust to the left or the right ? I know a compass would help, but over here they aren't many shops that sell em .. |

go left by 9 degrees. You also need to point the dish down slightly unless it is on a motorised mount.

Hi timo3.
This tool is a pretty good double-check too. http://www.ses-global.com/consumer/a...p?locale=en_GB

Wel i was able to find it, only one problem doh, i can't turn the dish far enough without hitting the side of the roof i think i need a extra 10 cm height..
So i'll have to find a way to place it a little higher.. Also played around a bit, got Hotbird on 5E.. Not bad.. Then turn it back to Astra on 19E, so i'll have to find another way to get the Astra 2E .. |

Sounds like you're having fun
![]() If your receiver has DiSEqC 1.2, why don't you motorise a dish? It's very easy to do!

Well the receiver supports DiSEqC 1.2 and USALS, might buy one next month. Been looking at the Moteck SG2100A Which goes for around 49 euro's.
Still if i was to mount it, where i currently mounted the dish. It would hit the tiles from the roof. when adjusting beyond 23° .. sniff So i first need to find the best place to mount, and also where i can get most of the sat's .. Hotbird, Astra etc.. As at the moment i seem to be only able to point to sat's between 7°E --> 19°E maybe just up to 23°E |

Well good luck in finding a location
![]() Don't forget, that once mounted on the motor the dish sits a good few inches forward of the original mounting, and the dish tilts as it rotates. You might be surprised how much clearance you have toward the eastern and western limits. €49 huh? Buy two! ![]() An excellent motor. We would have to pay nearly double that for one in the UK : ![]() STICK
