Default Amos 1 at 4.0 west Europe Beam

hello guys its me again and my silly questions which will never finish as long as this fourm is here ops:
my question is can i receive the satellite Amos 1 the european beam not the middle easteren one
here in London if so what is the right dish size

hi m8 you should see the europe beam from here @4w,reckon about a meter blow ish for the strongest signels.

hi london be around that size for strongest signels only on 4w.best is to by tele satellite international magzine.this has a disk for your pc,init once setup is a thing called dish track.with this you can find out what size dish is needed for all satellites.

Theroretically, no chance - its an Eastern European spot beam centred on Hungary. The footprint map puts the power levels in south eastern England at about 32dBW. Thats equivalent to a 3m dish!!

BUT - many of those will be people misreporting the Amos 2 channels. Ive never heard of anyone in the UK getting anything off Amos 1
