Uefa may launch an investigation into the game between Chelsea and Barcelona.
The stormy match was drawn 2-2 with Chelsea picking up six of 10 bookings and Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard confronting the referee at the end. Chelsea can expect a fine as any team picking up five or more bookings in a game is automatically punished. The size of the fine and any penalty for Rijkaard will depend on the reports of referee Stefano Farina and Uefa match delegate Wolfgang Thierrichetr. Uefa are keen to stamp out players surrounding the referee during a match and, as that took place on several occasions at the Nou Camp during the game, it may decide to make an example of both clubs as well as Rijkaard.
