Default thought I'd say hiya from jockland

Howdy , how's it all going.
I'm just starting to get into this stuff and say hiya to all.
I convinced her indoors that this was the way to go and not sky/sly
I bought a technomate 1600 and motorised dish from ebay and had a few probs setting it up.(total newbie).
Great help from you guys on the forum. Feel more enlightened now
Now the experimenting starts

Well done m8. We're right behind you all the way - any problems and one of us is usually about to help out - even if it's only a 'don't panic'!

Welcome to the forum. There's lots to learn and much fun to be had. We have loads of members from Scotland, although a couple of them are a little bit crazy... ops:

Regards,

STICK

Before anyone gets an image of me being a whisky swilling, kilt wearing, porridge eating jock let me point out

1) Ive got the thickest Birmingham accent in a 40 mile radius
2) the whisky swiller is correct

Well, without the Scots there would be no TV, whisky, tarmac, steam engines, paraffin, not necessarily in that order, and this satellite lark sure gets the neighbours talking. Welcome barr, and you'll certainly learn a lot here, as I did.
