Default New channels in the skies above Europe

We are trying out a new idea on the forum. It works quite well on some of the other forums, and dont see why it cant be popular here as well. Im going to be taking screen grabs of new channels as they launch onto the satellites in the skies above Europe, and posting the info on the forum.

We arent aiming to cover every single channel that launches, just a representative sample.

Anyone with equipment & kit to take screen grabs is most welcome to join in - but please try to keep the file sizes down (preferably around 120K max) - remember not eveyone is on broadband yet!

Keep it to one thread per channel here in the 'New Channels' section. That makes it easy to discuss any particular channel and subsequent events of importance.

Post edited for more info.

I can get 5E, 13E, 16E, 19E & 28E here at the moment so those are the satellites I will be concentrating on.

Im looking at 1st November 2006 as our initial date, so all the channels mentioned in the new section are new after this date.

Be warned - some of these images will contain some female nudity - although never more than you would see on a Mediterranean beach. We will never post anything that could be considered hard core in this section.

Can we ask anyone posting pictures in this section in the future as the section develops to stick to this rule please.

Can I kindly suggest that we try and refrain from posting any nudity(female/male),but particularly female, which will no doubt,be far more frequent on some of the new "channels".
Simply for the reason,if we want to encourage a diverse range of people,to the website and become members, then they should feel comfortable, with the content on the forum.
Is it really necessary to have screenshots of these(text/talk and pornographic) channels?

Yes it is - like it or not they are now an integral part of the European sat scene. The mods have discussed it and we have agreed the limits and there wont ever be anything more than minor nudity on the forum. If someone doesnt like the naked body then satellite zapping isnt the hobby for them.

There is a warning on the section entrance, so its not as if they are coming in completely unwarned.

It will only be in the New Channels section, and as Analoguesat says, there is a warning now on the section header.

We thought long and hard about this, and decided that mild nudity would be permitted, but contained in this way.

You will see numerous flippant references to "SCL's" scattered through the channel descriptions. This is my shorthand for a "Scantily Clad Ladies" channel - - normally a channel showing static captions of young ladies wearing rather fewer clothes than is good for them, and either advertising a website, or more commonly premium rate (expensive) phone chat lines.

Please note - to see the pictures you need to be a member of the forum & be logged in. If you are just passing by then you wont be able to see the pictures.
