Default Premiership international tv rights

Hi there,
I am aware that tendered bids for international tv rights for Premiership football starting from next season had to be in for 8th November, but can anybody tell me when results are likely to be announced? If not who else from Art sport do you think might be in the running etc...
I have asked this question on another Satellite forum and getting nowhere! Hopefully I will have more luck here..

It doesn't really matter who has the rights, because the winners get some of their money back by passing on those rights to other providers.

If you look back at the news of 2005, BSB had lost their rights. What happened?

I don't think that the FAPL are obliged to disclose who has submitted bids, or indeed a date when the winning bidders will be announced. I certainly haven't heard a date yet. The FAPL website will be the place to look for any announcement.

Not sure about re-selling rights. The FAPL may be getting stricter on this, but as Jim says, some very dodgy deals are done across Europe. Look at the dodgy Premiere/Bundesliga deal this time around too.

Many thanks for your very interesting and educational comments.
Being new to all things satellite I am just beginning to realise the grey and complex areas regarding tv rights etc...
